3rd and 4th Grade Swimming

As part of the Arlington Public Schools Physical Education Curriculum, all Campbell students in 3rd and 4th Grades will have the opportunity to participate in the county’s swimming and water safety program during the school day.  Students will travel to the swimming facilities at Wakefield High School or W-L High School for one week during the school year. The program consists of five 1 hour-long sessions, during which students will learn beginner and intermediate skills and knowledge to safely access and enjoy the lifetime leisure and wellness associated with swimming and other water-related activities. Lessons are taught by certified aquatics staff and are supplemented  and supported by their physical education teacher. This is a great opportunity for students to learn knew skills, how to be safe in water-related environments, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!
